She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mercado and Monserrate Montalvo Santos; and her brother Francisco Mercado. She is survived by: her pets, Ruby, Doug and Pepsi; her children, Pedro Troche Jr., William Troche, Emmanuel Troche and Taina Troche; and her grandchildren, Ethan and Sophia.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the David T Ferguson Funeral Home (20 North St, Washingtonville, NY 10992). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
