He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Barnes and June Barnes (Ingersol); and his brother-in-law Edward Babb. He is survived by: his wife Amy R. Barnes; his children, Carri Kirkland (Jerry), Cathi Henriquez, Kim Palkoski (Robert), James Barnes (Monica) and Julie Barnes (Randy); and his siblings, Ronald Barnes (Elaine), Marie Pillmeier (Michael) and Nancy Babb. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nieces and a nephew.
