“I was Lee's English teacher when he was a sophomore at SVHS. He was one of my early favorites, and I was so glad we gained an adult friendship on Facebook. I knew him to be gentle, courageous, and loving, and, of course, a great reader. I was honored to read his book, Tales of a Toll Booth. May his memory be a blessing to his family and to all who knew him. His memory is certainly a blessing to me.”
