She was predeceased by: her parents, Leah Vanalstyne (Bill) and Elmer Hicks (Edna); her close friend Andrew Hladik; and her sister Elaine Walker Irene (Sprakers). She is survived by: her daughter Charlene Ruszkowski Jeffery (Canajoharie); and her siblings, Mary Hicks Doris (Albany), Kevin Hicks and Bill Vanalstyne. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
