It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn V. Shaw (Cherry Valley, New York), born in Cobleskill, New York, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Hotaling and Avis Hotaling; her sister Judy Beacraft (late Les Beacraft) of Texas; her children, Cherie Hallstein (Daniel Clancy) of Fort Plain, Donald Hagadorn Jr. of Starkville, Timothy Hagadorn (Tammy Hagadorn) of Fort Plain and Harold Hagadorn (Grace Hagadorn) of Canajoharie; her stepson George Shaw (Maria Shaw); her grandchildren, Stacey, Jenna (Yousef), Sarah (Vic), Jessica (John), Nathaniel Brandon (Meghan), Kelsey, Alexis (Dayton), Ian (Emily), Damien and Ayiana; her husband George; and her siblings, Clara Mae and Bobby. She was also cherished by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ayers Memorial Animal shelter in Evelyn Shaw's name.
