He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Peters and Celia Peters (Piechnik); his wife Janet S. Peters of Cherry Creek; and his sisters, Marcia Faulise, Sylvia Calliano and Suzanne Burkley.

He is survived by: his children, Lori Isula (Michael) of Cherry Creek and Timothy J. Peters of Salisbury, NC; and his siblings, David Peters (Dee) and Joyce Walczyk. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
