It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James F. Peterson of Cherry Creek, New York, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold F. Peterson and Georgia Merwin Peterson; his wife Audrey E. Wensley Peterson; his granddaughter Kristen Meekins; and his siblings, Gene H. Peterson and Roberta Depas.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Meekins (Paula) of Bemus Point, James Peterson Jr. of Westfield, Steve Peterson of Panama, Randy Peterson of Panama and Brian Peterson (Diana) of West Ellicott; his stepchildren, Victor Digirolamo, David Dirgirolamo and Sharon Digirolamo; and his siblings, Ted Abbot and Kathy Littrell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
