He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murphy and Anna Murphy; his siblings, James Murphy and Joyce Wescott; and his stepgrandson David Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kathleen Murphy Clark, Maureen Murphy-Bangert (Kevin) and Richard Murphy (Lisa); his grandchildren, Michael Clark (Adrienne), Faith Clark, Zachary Murphy and Brayden Murphy; his great grandchild MacKenzie; his brother Donald Murphy; and his brother-in-law Dr. Louis Wertalik (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
