He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Laven and Jane Laven (O'Donnell). He is survived by: his children, Brian Laven (Michelle) and Rory Laven; his grandchildren, Levi, Laikynn, Lucas and Jackson; his siblings, Sally J. Hartmann, Sue Sigler (Rick), Rick Laven (Judy) and Brian Laven (Cindy Laven); and his close friend Carol Perry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Cemetery. in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in Gary's memory.
