He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Lakin; his stepfather Wilson "Tim" Lakin; his siblings, Jean Smith, Joyce Quain, Lynn and Gerald Lester; his stepbrother Eddie Lakin; and his siblings-in-law, Diane, Karen Lester, Delores Lakin and Ken Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his son Charles (Chuck); his brothers-in-law, Tom Quain and Ed Smith; and his close friends, Marilyn Taggart and Lisa Warner. He is also survived by friends, and his church family.
