He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Rimbey and Helen Shermer Rimbey; and his sister Barbara Ann Rimbey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rimbey of Chemung; his sons, Andrew John Rimbey (Sarah) of Jacksonville, FL, Jeffrey Walker (Susan) of Chemung and Steven Walker (Karen) of Elmira Heights; his sister Rita Rimbey of Elmira; and his grandchildren, Ciaran, Nora, Dylan (Ali), Devon and Nicholas.
Memorial donations may be made in John's name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
