It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph P. McCormick (Chelsea, New York), born in Newburgh, New York, who passed away on August 20, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. McCormick and Hazel M. Sarvis McCormick; his wife Gloria VanVlack; and his brothers, Robert McCormick and Thomas Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne Given (Robert) of Sherman and Lisa McCormick (Ronald Jackson) of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
