She is survived by: her son Matthew Modesto; her grandchildren, Renee Modesto, Chelsea McCarroll, Santina Light and Abram Light; and her siblings, Frank Miko (Nancy), John Miko (late Daina), Mary Johnson (Ron) and Margit Wiseman. She is also survived by her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
