He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Laschinger; his son Lawrence Laschinger; his grandson Nicholas Laschinger; and his brother Norman Laschinger (Carol). He is survived by: his children, Patricia Skalski (David), Eric Laschinger, Thomas Laschinger and Lisa Bojarski (Erik); his grandchildren, Alison McElroy (Aaron), Jennifer Skalski (Trisha), Melissa Skalski, Sara Bojarski and Jack Bojarski; his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Brennan and Brady McElroy; and his sister Ann Gregoire (late Gary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Hill Chapel (569 Cleveland Dr, Cheektowaga, NY 14225). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Gualbert Church (83 Gualbert Ave, Buffalo, NY 14211). The military honors was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery (700 Pine Ridge Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225). An entombment was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
