It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas W. Schratz (Cheektowaga, New York), who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Schratz and Mary Patricia "Patty" Schratz; and his parents-in-law, Richard "Bing" and Elaine Collora. He is survived by: his wife Shelly D. Schratz of Bing's Restaurant; his children, Thomas "TJ" Schratz, Jr., Joseph P. Schratz (Hannah), Jenna Keleher (Christopher) and Elena Munro (Bryan); his granddaughter Scarlett Schratz; and his siblings, James (Carol), David (Peg Boucher) of Jeffrey, MD, John, Meghan Mullen (Mark), Amie Dawson (Paul), Molly Costello (John) and Beth Ann Garceau (Neil). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cleveland Hill Chapel (569 Cleveland Dr, Cheektowaga, NY 14225). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (30 Lamarck Dr, Amherst, NY 14226).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Schratz's memory to the United Cerebral Palsy Association.

A different time in today's world.
