He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; and his brother Robert Markes (Dorothy). He is survived by: his children, David (Julia), Thaddeus (Karen), Paul (Kathryn), Robert (Carolyn) and Rosanne Chesbro (Robert); and his sibling Jacky Nawrocki (late Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
