She was predeceased by: her husband Gary J. Kearns; her stepchild Lynn Kearns; and her siblings, Joel and Judy James. She is survived by: her son Matthew Kearns (Erin); her stepchildren, Patrick, Chris, Rebecca and Robert; her siblings, Stephen James (Jennean) and Denise Dixon (Dave); and her close friend Gene Scinta. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Donations may be made in Sandy's name to Hospice Buffalo.
