He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine; his children, Richard (Mary Ann), Barb, Cathy (Theresa), Rudy (Diane) and Robert Sass (Tina); his grandchildren, David (Emily), Daniel (Kristen), Rebecca Christensen (Philip), Steven, Nicholas, Alec, Nathaniel and Dylan; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Micah and Emma; his father Karl; his sibling Waltrud Gertruth; and his cousins, William Sass (Betty) and Vera Wutz (late Franklin).
