Rita (Miller) M. Kosek Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2024, Rita (Miller) M. Kosek (Cheektowaga, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Rita's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Rita's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry J. Kosek; and her close friend Norbert Kreuzer. She is survived by: her children, David Kosek, Judith Kosek-Barrios (Mario) and Suzanne Borowiec (Scott DeStefano); her grandchildren, Marita Navarro (Miguel) and Andrew Kosek; and her great grandchild Aedan Navarro.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dietrich Funeral Home, Inc. (2480 Kensington Ave, Amherst, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Prague Church (921 Cleveland Dr, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
