He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Labendzki and Anna Labendzki; and his siblings, Fred Labendski and Shirley Christiano. He is survived by: his wife Gloria LaBend; his children, Richard LaBend (Lisa) and Rand LaBend (Annmarie); his stepdaughters, Deborah Acanfora (Howard) and Karen Zelak (David); and his grandchildren, Brandon LaBend, Trevor LaBend, Patrick Wannicki (Elizabeth), Michael Acanfora, Jason Acanfora, Alexa Zelak (Andre Monroe) and Jacob Zelak. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, nephew and 2 nieces.
