He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Sr. Common and Clara Common (Milgate). He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Kimberly Common Black, Natalie Common, Richard J. Common III, Erik Buehler (Santania), Justin Common and Joel Common; his grandchildren, Aiden, Allison Geffers, Corbin Billings, Brandon Common, Lilianna, Abigail, Elaina, Hunter, Greyson Buehler, Krischan and Andrew Pietrantoni; his sisters, Jane Morgan and Barbara Reynolds (Leo); and his close friend Dennis Byrne (Coal) of Cicero. He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
