She was predeceased by: her husband James N. Saemenes; her son James "Matthew" Saemenes; her grandson Jacob Saemenes; her parents, Raymond Abbotoy and Viola Abbotoy; and her siblings, Marlene Kelley (late Leo) and Marvin Abbotoy (Bertha).

She is survived by: her child Shelley J. Pellak; her grandchildren, Andrew Pellak (Nicole), Justin Pellak and Cheyanne Pellak; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Micheal and Margeaux Pellak; and her siblings, Wilfred Abbotoy (Pat) and Sharon Dingman (late Jerad).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Noreen's honor may be made to the Buffalo City Mission.

“Noreen and I have kept in contact during the years. When we couldn’t visit, we spoke or text on the phone.. I was always amazed at her courage and ability to move forward in life. Our conversations always ended with memories of growing up on Schlenker Ave.. The world lost a woman who was filled with love. In my mind, I see Noreen healthy, smiling and hugging all those she had missed for so long. I’ll miss her. She’ll always be Sharon’s little sister. I extend my sympathy to all. Nancy”
