He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Dirr and Henrietta Dirr; his sisters, Joan Montgomery (late Robert) and Patricia Nowicki; and his sister-in-law Marlene Barczykowski (Roger).
He is survived by: his spouse Michele Dirr; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Szafranski (late Michael); and his brother Frederick Dirr (Patricia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Prague Church (921 Cleveland Dr, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
