He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronsfawa Kochel and Walenty Kochel (late Anna); and his siblings, Michalene Banaskiewicz (late Joseph), Josephine Szarzanowicz (late Stanley), Christine Mincel (Sigmund) and John Kochel (late Sylvia).
He is survived by: his wife Jadwiga; his sons, Peter Kochel, James Kochel, Michael Kochel and Stanley Kochel; his grandchild Finley Kochel; and his sisters, Helene Kochel (Christopher), Sophia Sikora (Henry) and Emily Heckler (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
