He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimera Zak and Bernard Zak; his sister Irene Lawniczak (late Eddie); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Czajka (late Richard). He is survived by: his wife Lucille Zak; his children, Alan Zak (Beth Wozniak) and Susan Zak Langan (Gene Langan III); his grandchildren, Gene Langan IV, Alexa Zak, Sean Langan and Connor Zak; his goddaughter Elaine Kostyszyn; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Kugel (late Leonard) and Dolores Hurley (late Donald). He is also survived by many nephews and cousins.
