He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Urbino; his parents, Augustino Urbino and Rita Urbino; and his siblings, Alex Urbino (late Concetta), Nancy Lleras (late Frank), Anthony Urbino (late Rose), George Urbino (late Carol) and Anna Urbino.

He is survived by: his siblings, Samuel Urbino (late Theresa), Amelia Portera (late Albert), Augustine Urbino (Diane) and Louis Urbino (late Judy); and his sister-in-law Angela Christopher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice Foundation.
