It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Mazurowski of Cheektowaga, New York, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Michael, Carl (Donna) and Cindy Herman (Chris); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Denise (Tyler), Allison (Sean), Andrew (Catherine), Valerie (Patrick), DziaDzia of Cecelia, James, Brayden, Aurora, Madelyn and Emmitt. He is also survived by three brothers; also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home - Cheektowaga (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection RC Church (130 Como Park Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14227). The military honors will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:20 AM at the St. Matthew's Cemetery (180 French Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224).
