It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene J. Gutowski of Cheektowaga, New York, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gutowski; his grandson Andrew Gutowski; his siblings, Chester Gutowski, Matthew Gutowski and Dorothy Pyszczek (Stanley); and his siblings-in-law, Rose Benson (late Alan), Thomas Santalucia (Rosemarie), Concetta Filadora (late Pascal) and Josephine Santalucia.
He is survived by: his son David Gutowski (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Abby and Alex. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. (5453 Southwestern Blvd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish (2052 Lakeview Rd, Lake View, NY 14085). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (3063 Harlem Rd, Buffalo, NY 14225).
