Cecilia M. Stevens Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecilia M. Stevens of Cheektowaga, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald W. "Beav" Stevens; her parents, Theodore Short and Cecelia Short; and her parents-in-law, Daniel and Virginia Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Piccione (Frank), David Stevens (Lisa), Mark Stevens (Kim) and Janet Mackowiak (Karl); her grandchildren, Michael Strychalski (Jessica), Cassie Piccione, Kristina Anger (Cole), Matthew Stevens, Emily Nelson (Greg), Julie Taylor, Christie Hessler (Andrew), Kevin Stevens, Rachel Mackowiak, Jacob Mackowiak, Trevor Stevens and Austin Stevens; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Jackson, Carson, Brandon, Cole, Leo, Giovanni, Nico and Marli.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Martha Parish (10 French Rd, Depew, NY 14043).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Erie County SPCA in honor of Cecilia's love for animals.
