She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome Lis; her son Joseph Lis; and her brothers, Daniel Wasielewski (Eleanore) and Thaddeus Wasielewski. She is survived by: her children, Jerome Lis (Lisa), James Lis (Holly) and June Przywuski (late Daniel). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home - Cheektowaga (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Martyrs R. C. Church (180 George Urban Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14225).
