She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dieterich and Joan Dieterich. She is survived by: her children, Kristin Brandel of Cheektowaga, NY and Randall of Fort Mill; her grandchildren, Rebekah Brandel and Daniel Brandel (Kaitlyn); her great grandchildren, Penelope and Piper; and her sisters, Karen Thomas (Richard) of Denver and Deborah West (Douglas) of Ankeny. She is also survived by four nephews.
