He is survived by: his parents, Chad Poirier and Tammy Poirier (Cronkrite); his brother Jake Poirier; his great-grandparents, Gerald and Lorraine Castine; his grandparents, Louise Cronkrite, Debbie, Tony Leerkes, Rene Poirier and Lynn Robert; his aunts and uncles, Jessica MacNerland (Bruce Mousseau), Milton Cronkrite, Brian Cronkrite (Missy Cronkrite), Kelly Cronkrite and Tina (Paul Couch); and his cousins, Brady MacNerland, Baylon Cronkrite, Lexi Cronkrite, Destiny Cronkrite and A. J. Couch.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chazy Athletic Association in honor of Owen Poirier. 609 Old Route 191 Chazy, NY.
