He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Miller and Emma Miller (Cayea); his parents-in-law, Herbert and Hattie Smith; his son Steve Miller; his siblings, Leonard, Lawrence, Leo, Gaylord, Loretta, Velma, Eva, Ida, Irene and Hortense; his brother-in-law Robert Smith; and his son-in-law John Healey.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Miller of Chazy Lake; his children, Crystal Litzau (Wayne) of Odessa, FL, Lynn Miller (Michelle) of Milton, VT and Deborah Coryer (Ricky) of Chazy Lake; his grandchildren, Bridget Benware (Jason), Jessica Healey, Kristie Chase (Matt), Lori Healey (Brett Fisher) and Kryn Burnside (Nate); his great grandchildren, Emmett Benware, Colten Burnside, Hughes and Miles Chase; and his sister-in-law Jean Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rabideau Funeral Home (5614 US-11, Ellenburg, NY 12933). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Edmund's Church (5526 US-11, Ellenburg Center, NY 12934).
