He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sr and Irene LaPointe Sr. (Poissant); and his brother David LaPointe Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Debbie (LaPointe); his husband Mike Fay (LaPointe); his grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah, Abby and Caleb; and his siblings, Ronald LaPointe of Chazy, Danny (Sandra LaPointe) of Chazy, Lillian Reynolds of Peru and Carol (Bruce Dragon) of Martinez, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
