With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mathilda Solomonson of Chautauqua, New York, born in Kane, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nels Carlson and Katherine Carlson (Stites); and her spouse Glen Solomonson (Earl). She was also cherished by her two children, she is survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In accordance to her wishes, the family is requesting donations be made to either the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department, Lutheran Social Services Jamestown, or Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care.
