With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen P Snyder of Chautauqua, New York, born in Niobe, New York, who passed away on May 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Petitt and Florence Wassink Petitt; and her siblings, Mae Petitt and Lewis Petitt. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Snyder (Amy) of Mayville and Gary Snyder of Chautauqua; her grandchildren, Sam, Leah Snyder and Ashley Wood (David) of Livonia, NY; her great grandchildren, Maddy and Lexi Wood; and her brother Floyd Petitt (Trudy) of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
