He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rowley and Florence Kinneston Rowley; and his siblings, Dorothy Wood, Jim, Alan "Bud" and Kenneth Rowley.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wells Rowley; his children, George W. Rowley of Jamestown and Cathy Burch (Kevin) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Brandon, Cavan, Spencer, Dalton, Colton, Christian, Joshua and Jayden; and his sisters, Alberta Wilson of Frewsburg and Betty Polly of Michigan.
