He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Hernandez and Wensela Hernandez (DeJesus); his wife Dorothy Hernandez (Holzer); his brothers, Ismael Hernandez, Crispin Hernandez (Natada), Slisto Hernandez and Efrin Hernandez (Tatine); and his children, William Fessler, David Fessler, Neil Fessler, Paulette Brennan (Edward) and Maryann Santiago (Juan).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Fessler (Francisca Jennings), Richard Vasquez (Michelina), Kathy Kleinschmidt (James), Julie Raab (Ronald) and Linda Capitano (Guy); and his brother Jamie Hernandez (Maria). He is also survived by many grand children, great-grandchildren and great-great - grandchildren.
His family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to his doctors, his nurses and the staff at Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their dedicated care during the past year in caring for Andreas during a very difficult time during COVID.
