He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Strejlau and Deloris Spaziani Strejlau. He is survived by: his wife Joanna; his sisters, Lynn Newman, Donna Strejlau and Glen Park; his nephew Christopher Newman (Christine) of Warners, NY; his niece Amanda DesJardins (Jason); and his parents-in-law, Terry Crump, Christine, Bernard Ryan, John Crump and Michelle Sanford (Brad). He is also survived by eight great nephews and one great niece.
