It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethelmarie Smith of Chaumont, New York, born in Theresa, New York, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lear and Margaret Lear (Baker); her husband Eugene V. Smith; and her brothers, Raymond J. Lear Jr. and David C. Lear.
She is survived by: her children, Vincent Smith (Brenda) of Madera, CA and Richelle David (Jeffrey) of Chaumont, NY; and her grandchildren, Vincent, Heather, Katie, Steven, Shelby, Alyssa and Seth (Sara). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
