He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis McEachern and Josephine McEachern (Corcoran); his wife Beverly (Falvey); his son Shawn McEachern; his sisters, Jane Smith and Elizabeth Volk; his children, Timothy McEachern (Andrea Gabel) of Spencertown and Tracy Tassinari (Samuel Tassinari) of Spencertown; and his grandchildren, William, Frieda, Jack, Emma (Ian French), Alice, Helen, Lucy Tassinari, Joseph (Hannah Cozzolino), Thomas Cozzolino and Jacob Gabel. He was also cherished by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
