He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Josephine Fred and Phillip D. Mickle Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Michele Mickle; his sons, Michael Mickle (Jen) of East Chatham, David of Chatham, Robert Mickle of Chatham and Jason Shatney (Rachel) of Canaan; his grandchildren, Cody, Evan and Alexandra Mickle; and his sisters, Patricia Kipp and Pamela Mickle of Hudson. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William H. Mickle Memorial Scholarship fund.
