He is survived by: his wife Barbara E VanAlstyne; his children, Ted Jr., Terry and Stephanie VanAlsyne; his grandson Daimiyn Bonhotel; his daughters, Bernadette, Chawanda, Kenta and Amanda; and his siblings, Warren (Linda), Baren VanAlstyne and Paula Jones. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
