She was predeceased by: her husband Willard Kern; her mother Mildred Vroman; and her siblings, William Gates, Lucretia King and Helen Trusdell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Violet Robbin, Nancy Hallenbeck and Ann Ordway; her grandson Willard Kern (Woody); and her brother B. Judson Gates. She is also survived by her children, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
