It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Badertscher Jensen (Chatham, New York), who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Badertscher and Gertrude Hammon Badertscher; her husband Warren Jensen; and her children, Wanda and Joseph Meaney.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Diskin (Greg), Scott Jensen (Victoria) of Austerlitz, NY and Patricia Hartl (Darrell Winner) of Delmar, NY; her daughter-in-law Lisa Meaney of Ghent, NY.; her sisters, Evelyn Keefner, Margie Quinn of Austerlitz, NY and Isabel Koch of Ruskin, FL.; her grandchildren, Sean Diskin (Beth), Jason Meaney, Jessica Fairbairn (Kevin) and Brianna O'Rourke (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Emmett, Elaina, Alexia Fairbairn, Collins and Teagan O'Rourke.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Presbyterian Church (5219 Co Rd 7, Chatham, NY 12037).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Peter's Presbyterian Church in her memory.
