He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Gordon Goold and Arline E. Goold (Doty); his former wife Judi (McLaughlin); his stepdaughter Theresa Amelang (Borras); and his brother Alan Goold.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Goold (Peter), Karen Kuiper (Robert) and Randy Goold (Katie); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Erica, Danielle, Emma and W. Newton; his wife Patricia (Brooks-Borras); his siblings, Betsy Palladino and David Goold (Carol); and also Zoey.
