He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Maitland Thompson and Gladys Thompson (Selleck); and his siblings-in-law, Harlow, Leona Holland, Grace Holland and Jack Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Bethany Lynn (Jeremy) of Delta, Colorado, Aaron (Jaimie) of Plattsburgh, Mark (Meagan) of Malone, Joel of Dushore, PA, Jonathan (Katie) of Ellenburg, Seth of Ellenburg, Nathaniel (Heather) of Scobey, Peter (Macaylla) of Chateaugay, Philip of Chateaugay, Matthew (Rebekah) and Benjamin of Chateaugay; and his siblings, Roberta Bishop, Richard and Daniel Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
