Shirley Parent Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Parent of Chateaugay, New York, born in Churubusco, New York, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Recore and Rose Mary Recore (Decosse); her brother Wayne Recore; and her son-in-law Mike Poupore. She is survived by: her husband Francis Parent; her children, Ann Marie Ryley (Kenneth) of Poughkeepsie, Brian Parent (Joann) of Myersville, MD, Carmen Damour (Richard) of Churubusco and Terry Poupore-Barcomb of Malone; her grandchildren, Shawn Poupore, Jessica Johnston, Brittany Dyer, Andrew, Nicholas Damour, Victoria Fiorey, Timothy Damour, Joshua, Noah Ryley and Kaitlin Parent; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Jordan Johnston, Braydon, Brody Poupore, Dominic, Max, Lillian Fiorey, Caleb and Corbin Damour; and her siblings, Jane Patnode of Dover Plains, Barbara Patnode of Plattsburgh and Donald Recore of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
