He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Owen (Cook); his children, Eric Owen (April) and Carrie Owen-Lavigne (John); his grandchildren, Gwen, Ethan, Allie, Leigha and Jacob; his sister Kathy Dawn; his nieces and nephews, Michele McGuire, Melissa Gebhart, Elizabeth Waugh, Alexandra Waugh, Kenneth Ashline and Thad Cook; his mother-in-law Mary Cook; his siblings-in-law, Christine Waugh (Jeffrey), Cynthia Cook and Keith Cook; and his pet Chloe.
