We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 91, John Swanston of Chateaugay, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Swanston to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Swanston and Janet Swanston (Gray); his siblings, Charles Swanston, Stewart Swanston, Genevieve Gero and Caroline Harter; and his niece Kelly Swanston.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Swanston of Oakland Park, John K. Swanston (Lisa Andresen Swanston) of Chateaugay and Kyle G. Swanston (Karen Burke Swanston) of Chateaugay; his grandchildren, Arianna Swanston (William Munn) of Saranac Lake, Matthew Swanston (Morgan Swanston) of Chateaugay, Patrick Swanston of Chateaugay, Jedadiah and Gloria Swanston of Chateaugay; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Munn of Saranac Lake and Maxwell Swanston of Chateaugay. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chateaugay Funeral Home (36 Church St, Chateaugay, NY 12920). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
